Our Rebate is available only to buyers who close/buy with us acting as their sole and exclusive agent in the purchase of real estate. Any marketing incentive or bonus offered to ABR Realty above the 3% commission is excluded from the rebate calculations. The rebate will be paid or credited to the party or parties named as the “buyer(s)” or “borrower(s)” on the HUD-1 Closing Statement or equivalent official closing statement. If the buyer(s) choose to have the rebate paid to them in the form of a check, it will be paid to them within 14 days after closing.
The 1.5% rebate is based on the seller offering a commission of 3% of the final sales price to Buyer’s Agents.
However some builders reduce the commissionable sales price for various reasons, slightly reducing the final commission amount. For commission amounts less than 3% or builder commisson adjustments, the rebate amount will be figured at up to 50% of total commission offered to ABR Realty. Which may turn out to be less than 1.5% of the sales price.
This rebate program is only available where permitted under state and federal law and when not otherwise prohibited by the buyer’s lender. There may be tax consequences to the rebate.
